NextAce Corporation Embraces Community With Donation Program
ORANGE, Calif. - May 25, 2004 - Building purpose that extends beyond its office walls, NextAce Corporation*s newly established donation program has presented its first beneficiary, the Orange County Foundation for Oncology Children and Families (OCF-OCF), with $311.00. The donation is part of an ongoing program developed to instill fellowship and purpose beyond the day-to-day work environment among NextAce employees, associates, vendors, and suppliers.
"In building our business we have set forth a goal to build the community around us," said NextAce President Mike Armstrong. "While our organization has already experienced a tremendous amount of early success and acceptance, there's an extra ounce of enjoyment derived by making it more than just about us."
OCF-OCF (www.ocf-ocf.org) is a non-profit organization that gives families touched by childhood cancer a chance to meet and network with others having the same experience. Each year in Orange County, more than 100 children are newly diagnosed with some form of cancer.
"It's through generous gifts, grants and donations that OCF-OCF has for 22 years provided a vital network and lifeline to these families at no cost to them," said Executive Director Karen Sullivan. "Through the contribution received from NextAce, two family members will be able to enjoy a special camp event held this summer in Big Bear." About NextAce Corporation
