Because of your generous donations, we were able to provide 594 deserving children and their families with a special holiday celebration at Knott’s Berry Farm and over 1800 personalized gifts!

Our hope is that even beyond being a day they’ll never forget, this will be an inspiration for children whose lives were touched. During the event, Connecting Hands Co-Founder Nick Ginali encouraged the children to one day step up and give to others, following the example they had seen that day. Several parents mentioned this later, saying that their vision for themselves and their children was to be able to follow the example of generosity they had just experienced.

That’s more than a great day- it’s a legacy.

For families who have a shallow safety net, knowing that others will step up to help not only meets the immediate need, but it also creates hope for a better future.

Not only do we have the brightest talent at NextAce, we have the most generous team! You donated time and money to make sure that these families had personalized presents for the holidays, then did the loading and unloading in the truck, and then stepped up to volunteer at the event in the many, many jobs that had to get done that day. Every present wrapped, bow tied, and sign carried was an act of generosity to people who may never be able to repay you, but were deeply moved by your contributions and service.

Another special thank you to your kids, spouses, significant others, and friends who volunteered that day. The saying “Aww, you didn’t have to do that!” really applies! But we’re so grateful that they did!
